OVERVIEW

Common Ground Sanctuary is a 24-hour nonprofit agency dedicated to helping youths, adults and families in crisis.

Located in Oakland County, Mich., Common Ground Sanctuary is the result of a 1998 merger between agencies Common Ground and The Sanctuary, Inc., both of which had existed for more than 30 years.

Through its crisis line (248.456.0909 or 800.231.1127) and in person through various programs, Common Ground Sanctuary provides professional and compassionate service to more than 40,000 people a year, with most services provided free of charge.
